We are on the lookout for a Technical Account Manager.

The market moves quickly and there are lots of new technology options for customers. Your role is about helping us to translate these choices for us customers into a delivery scope and being a trusted advisor and evangelist for us - and the technology we support.

We typically work in healthcare, universities, manufacturing and a range of others. As a business, our unique selling point is great experience with Wi-Fi.

We're looking for someone who is reasonably technical, and has the ability to drive sales with a varied customer base - you need to work as a trusted advisor essentially.

About the Role

The role is as Technical Account Manager to work with our customers in delivering Cisco and Aruba Solutions. The role is a full time, permanent position.

You will already be familiar with Cisco solutions to be able to discuss and position these as a technical, as well as from a sales perspective.

The role requires someone who wants to remain semi-technical, with a level of commitment to remain current, along with a strong sales drive to fulfil customer requirements. 

You will work with customers to specify their requirements, scope and quote these and work with the customer through the sales cycle.

This role has a lot of customer contact, so you must be great at building rapport and expressing our key values - accuracy, partnership and technical competency.

You'll have a mix of working directly with customers, authoring scopes, working out pricing models and quotes, as well as working with customers at a strategic level to support their business.


About You

  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, and a genuine interest in people
  • Have the ability to work autonomously as well as integrate into a high performance team
  • You have sound technical knowledge (primarily in Cisco) and have a passion for technology
  • You have a can-do attitude, be highly motivated and a fast learner
  • You maintain a high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective multitasking, prioritisation and logical problem-solving abilities
  • A strong commitment to continual improvement, innovation and learning.
